Course Description
WRITING REPORTS FOR INVESTMENT COMMITTEES
It is vital to ensure that important reports are suitable for their target audiences and achieve their objectives.
This workshop-style course will focus on reports created for investment committees. It will be designed specifically for all writers/editors who contribute to these reports.
An effective report should be a seamless document that is easy for its audience to read, navigate, understand and use. Its messages should be clear and immediately obvious – and easily understood on first reading. It should not contain varying tones of voice or widely differing writing styles.
The facilitator will create an environment where all writers involved can work together to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the current investment reports.
This will involve assessing the writing/reviewing process, ownership, writing styles, templates etc. The aim is to create agreement on the ways to ensure that all investment reports are as effective as possible. The course will also cover the fundamentals of effective planning, writing and reviewing.
The focus is on providing the skills to ensure all participants understand how to use language and layout to create reports that are strong, clear, concise and polished.
We also offer private one to one training on confidential report writing.
