Assertion skills for business is a half-day workshop designed to provide the critical skills for mastering assertiveness.
Assertiveness is based on balance. It requires being forthright about your wants and needs, while still considering the rights, needs and wants of others. When you’re assertive, you are self-assured and draw power from this to get your point across firmly, fairly and with empathy.
In this highly interactive and practical session, participants will learn how to overcome aggressive and/or passive behaviours through the application of the session skills.
On completion of this course you will:
Negotiate successful "win-win" solutions. You will be able to
recognise the value of their opponent's position and can quickly find common ground with them.
Be a better doer and problem solver. You will feel empowered to
do whatever it takes to find the best solution to the problems that you may encounter.
Feel less anxious and stressed. You will be self-assured and don't
feel threatened or victimized when things don't go as planned or as expected.
