WORKING REMOTELY – MANAGE YOUR ENERGY TO MANAGE YOUR TIME

We can feel we have more, even too much, time when working remotely or at other times we feel time just disappears as we have so little control of it. It can be difficult to get a grip on our remote working to make it work for us. This workshop explores how to manage our time by managing our energy to get what is needed done and to mind ourselves in the process.

The course is highly practical in orientation looking at what is needed to manage your time and your energy effectively. The specific issues of the participants will be addressed in the process.

 

This course will address:

  • What it means to understand and manage our energy so as to be in control of our time
  • Covey’s energy deployment quadrants framework to map out your time allocation
  • Fast thinking – slow thinking – what works to maximise our time use: Kahneman’s approach
  • Purpose, goal setting and values clarification as foundational
  • To do lists and / or scheduling – Kevin Kruse’s top tips
  • Communication: Get it right to save you time
  • Problem solving hacks that improve our time – habit loops and how to create them – some great neuroscience!
  • Eat the Frog – a timeless energy saver

This on-line interactive and highly engaging programme (customised to our client’s needs) can be a one or two half-day sessions. Our aim is to equip you with the personal and professional tools you need for yourself and for your team.
