MINI MODULE OUTLINE
THE PSYCHOLOGY OF INFLUENCING – THE MINDSET AND PROCESS FOR EFFECTIVE INFLUENCING
In this 90 minute session participants will discover the psychology of influencing; understand how we make decisions and learn how to influence with ethics. Participants will explore simple tools and processes for improving personal influencing skills.
Pre-work: Each participant will receive a questionnaire on Influencing Styles
The session will focus on:
1.Understanding the Psychology of Influence and how we make decisions
2.Explore the 3 styles of influencing (Sell, Tell, Involve)
3.Cialdini’s 6 rules of influencing and how to use them with ethics
4.Bakers 4-Domains of Influencing style for business influencing
5.Learn how to build trust and gain personal influencing power
Post work / Takeaway: Each participant will receive an Influencing strategy and development workbook to enable them to identify when and how to apply these tools.
