TEAM BUILDING FOR SUCCESS

This team building course is an essential guide for supervisors, team leaders and managers in knowing how to get the best out of their team and how to support the team to maximise their effectiveness.

The programme includes:

Get Started SWOT Analysis – Following a detailed analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats  we will make a realistic evaluation of the findings. We will explain the processes of forming, storming, norming, performing and begin the development of a team action plan.

Self-Assessment and Role Identification – Identify the differences between excellent and ordinary teams. Identify  successful team competencies and complete a self assessment and action plan. We also identify the various roles within the team and help you to understand where you fit and what you contribute to the team.

The Definition of a Team – Understand the differences between a team and a work group, look at individual/team needs and the benefits of teamwork. Identify the blocks to effective teamwork and how to develop team building skills

Develop a Clear Vision – Where is the team right now?Where should the team be going? Where is the organisation / company going?  Creating the Dream Team of the future

Team Communication – Develop effective listening behaviours. Identify assertive, passive and aggressive communication styles. Learn how to foster dialogue in team meetings

Measuring the Outcomes – Measure the outcomes of team activity-How should the team measure it’s success?
