The goal of this course is to provide managers with proven techniques and set of tools to deliver effective performance management.Performance management is not about ticking the box or setting goals at the start of the year only to leave them on the shelf until the end of year performance appraisal rolls around. Performance management is about managers helping individuals improve their personal best in line with organisational goals. This however has become a forgotten art in today’s demanding business environment.
In the demanding world of business today, managers are tasked with an increasing list of deliverables. Between having to deliver more with less resources and the complexity of ongoing change, the managerial role has become more difficult. In business today managers spend more time doing than managing.
